This modification allows the rudders on the Falcon UL to be installed in the normal DOWN fashion as well as in the UP fashion. This is essentially accomplished by replacing the actuator tube with a longer one which protrudes on top of the wing and adding approximately 25% to the rudder area. There is some minor loss  of lift involved and handling and trim is affected as well. But ground clearance is gained; a must in areas of brush, tall grass and snow.
